These Terms of Service govern your use of Lipslate’s mobile apps, website, and related services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
Who operates the Services
Lipslate is operated by the legal entity identified in our Privacy Policy. General inquiries may be sent to hello@lipslate.app.
Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required in your country, to use the Services.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity performed through it.
- Information you provide must be accurate and must not impersonate another person.
Subscriptions and payments
- Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices, billing periods, included usage, and applicable taxes are shown before purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through the applicable store before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
- If you reinstall the app or change devices, use the in-app Restore Purchases option to restore eligible store entitlements.
- Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their applicable policies.
- Deleting your Lipslate account does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, limited licence to host, copy, process, and transform that content solely as necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the Services and deliver your requested result.
We do not use uploaded content to train general-purpose or shared artificial-intelligence models.
You must have all rights, permissions, consents, and other lawful bases required to upload and process the content you submit, including any person’s image, voice, likeness, performance, or personal data.
Acceptable use
You must not use the Services to:
- Break the law or encourage unlawful activity.
- Upload or transform content without the rights, permissions, or lawful basis required to do so.
- Create non-consensual intimate content, child sexual abuse material, or content that exploits or endangers children.
- Impersonate, defraud, harass, threaten, deceive, or harm another person.
- Create misleading synthetic media intended to manipulate people about elections, public events, emergencies, financial matters, or another person’s identity.
- Violate privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, contractual, or other rights.
- Bypass security, usage limits, access controls, or subscription restrictions.
- Reverse engineer, extract, copy, or misuse our software, models, systems, or confidential technology except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Disrupt, overload, probe, scrape, or interfere with the Services or other users.
Generated results
Generated translations, speech, timing, and lip-sync may contain errors, omissions, or unexpected results. You are responsible for reviewing generated output before publishing, distributing, or relying on it.
You must not present generated output as authentic where doing so would be deceptive, unlawful, or harmful. You remain responsible for your use and distribution of generated results.
Intellectual property
The Services, including our software, interfaces, designs, trademarks, and underlying technology, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.
Third-party services
The Services may rely on third-party providers, including hosting, content-processing, authentication, and app-store services. Their terms and privacy practices may apply to your use of those services.
Account deletion and termination
You may stop using the Services at any time and may permanently delete your account through the app. If you cannot access the app, follow the account deletion instructions in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address violations of these Terms, fraud, security risks, legal requirements, misuse, or discontinuation of the Services.
Service changes and availability
We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, including lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
Our total aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid for the Services during the six months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Armenia. The courts of Yerevan, Armenia have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights and jurisdiction rules applicable where you live.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date shown at the top identifies the latest version. Where required, we will provide reasonable notice of material changes.
